Jill Valentine takes the lead for this game. It follows her and Carlos Oliveira as they try to find a vaccine to escape Raccoon City during an outbreak. The villain in this game is the Nemesis who is a secret weapon formed by an organisation called Umbrella. Although there are other Resident Evil games, the majority of them are male-dominated but the second remake does offer the chance to play Claire’s story, however the third remake is a fan favourite. Equally, you don’t need to worry about not playing the previous games because Resident Evil 3 isn’t based on previous lore so you can enjoy it as a first game. You play in third-person, battling through puzzles and combat while exploring the storyline. If you are a big fan of the theme, you will be delighted to know there is also a netflix series called Resident Evil which is based on the world of these games.
