Welcome to the first episode of the Pixel Podcast! This is a monthly podcast hosted by GLHF which aims to inspire the next generation of girl gamers. In this months episode, we sit down with Stacy Place who is the Game Director of Star Stable. This is a game specifically aimed at girls worldwide where they play as a 'soul rider' to save the town Jorvik with a group of girls. Stacy has worked her way up through the company and has such an interesting story of working within the gaming industry.
We discuss how she got into the industry and what her role looks like day to day. As well as how important it is to have more games like Star Stable to get girls into gaming and challenge all the stereotypes surrounding the industry.
